1. Listening to mp3s of old rock and roll songs whilst sitting here working 2. Being really bad, and getting a beer or two from the refrigerator at 4 in the afternoon. That's one of the cool things about working from home - as long as one doesn't overdo it of course. 3. Another wonderfully warm day - not much sunshine today, but the warmth is good, and it makes me feel happy sitting here with the door wide open, and the fresh air coming in. Late enough Did You Know? | (0)
It's approaching 12.40 a.m as I write this and it's quite late enough I think. I couldn't sleep last night, and ended up writing at 4am. So tonight, I am going to go to bed in a few minutes, and hopefully, have a good nights sleep. 1. The wonderful weather - in the high 70's today, and a beautiful blue sky. 2. The Atlantic Ocean on such a day. 3. Running a few business-related errands and getting done what I needed and wanted to do. That was satisfying if not immediately financially rewarding. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a big fan of much Microsoft. It took a long time for me to warm at all towards Windows XP, and even now there is much about it to mutter about - not least the rigaramole that sometimes confronts you when upgrading, or when the registry gets corrupted beyond salvation, and no restore point, or registry backup will save you, as Windows refuses to load at all, even in safe mode, and in one recent case, the CD refused to even put a new copy of Windows on the drive as ...
