I haven’t posted for a day or two. I’ve been busy. I’ve also been busy in places away from the computer. It’s kind of difficult to post then. I’ve started using Jott, and that allows you to blog from your cellphone (or any phone) by dictating a message. You get up to 30 seconds. [...]

It always springs to mind when we have yet another power outage here. I think whenever a sparrow lands in the tree outside it kills the power, as SCEG’s distribution network is so unreliable.
I’ve never lived anywhere where the power goes out 2-3 [...]

It’s the scapegoat for politicians of both parties, but particulary Democrats. We blame it for much: lost jobs, shoddy goods.
However what keeps the economy still stable, if not exactly bouyant right now?

Is the the incessant government tinkering, in the shape of the Federal Reserve?
Consumer Spending?
Foreign Trade?
