Mosaic 1.0
Just 14 years ago today, this little bit of software might have been sitting on your screen for the very first time.. it was the pre-release version of Mosiac 1.0 for Unix.
It was dubbed the killer application of the Internet. Marc Andreessen, who was the leader of the Mosaic team at NCSA, quit to form a company that would later be known as Netscape Communications Corporation.
