I think it’s almost more interesting to post 3BT when it’s NOT been one of the best days in one’s personal history.
I always try not think of any days being bad, but obviously some are more enjoyable than others!
1. The warm afternoon sunshine. Sitting here working with the sun room door open, and the outside temperature at 75F in late November is something I will always enjoy and never take for granted.
2. Kathy’s home-made carrot cake. OK, so the base was a Betty Crocker box, but after Kathy had added walnuts and raisins to the mix it was truly delightful. That’s a big plus from me, as I seldom ever eat cake – except cheesecake!
3. Blogging. Taking an hour towards the end of the day to read a few blogs such as Three Beautiful Things from which I was inspired to start my own, albeit occasional, 3BT postings. I know very few people read my blog, unlike the 180 visits a day Clare says she receives. I don’t care. It’s all good fun anyway, and I like writing. This is strange really, as I hated essays when I was at school, and always vowed I’d never take up writing. Ok, so I’m not a writer by profession, but I do actually enjoy writing these days! Go figure!

Thanks for 3BTing — much appreciated. I’ll Roll of Honour you at the next update.
There are some days when I really struggle to find 3BTs — but I’m always shamed into rattling some out by some of the 3BTers working under trying circumstances; or by the thought of breaking my record of posting every single day. Or failing that, I rush round doing some beautiful things so I can write about them.
