Back In Time

I’m not one for continually living in the past, but like many folks, I do like to take a look back now and again.

I’ve never really been into television, always preferring music and reading for relaxation. This evening, I dug out some oldies from the 70’s to listen to, and ended up playing some of those old Glam Rock tracks from that era.

One of my favorites was always Suzi Quatro, the Detroit born rocker who was enticed to the UK in 1971 by British pop mogul Micki Most.

She was never really popular in her own country, but had huge hits in the 70’s in the UK and Europe, and also in Australia, where she went on to sell more records than The Beatles.

She’s still on the scene these days, having released an album entitled “Back To The Drive” in 2007
