Today is the 100th anniversary of the birth of Mel Blanc. He was the guy that did the voices for Bugs Bunny, Barney Rubble, Daffy Duck, Tweety Bird… and many more.
Also born on this day in 1909 was Benny Goodman, the world famous bandleader who had such hits as Stompin’ At The Savoy and One O’Clock Jump
