Bloggers Meet

No Gravatar

A good time was enjoyed at the Lowcountry bloggers & tweeters meet at Gen’es Hofbrau, in Charleston, SC last evening. Personally I got to meet some new people, and also speak to some folks that I’d heard of, but not met in person.

I got talking to E. David Moulton, who has a great blog at ProdigalChild.net

He’s written a cracking novel, which you can review at Prodigal Child

We also got talking to Josh from the Charleston City Paper Blog We got talking about using WordPress Mu (for settinng up multiple blogs,  and also the new picture gallery features in the upcoming WordPress 2.5

We took a little video of the meeting while we were there,  and when I get some spare to do a little post-production, I’ll post it on the site here too.

I got to meet Joan Perry, who authors the excellent Walk This Way. It’s always a pleasure to check out Joan’s blog; I jsut love the stories that accompany each picture.

Last’ but not least, a big thank you to Heather Solos, Charleston’s very own Blogging Home Economist, for getting the meet together.

I had a great time. Thank you for coming out. I’m sorry I didn’t really get a chance to talk to you.
