The airport is only a mile and a half from where I live, and of course planes are landing and taking off all the time, although I rarely notice them. Here’s a video I found that shows planes landing at sunset.

This is a pleasant area to walk in, although it’s only a couple of minutes from the very busy A4 Bath Road, which carries a lot of traffic to Heathrow Airport which is only just over a mile from here.
