This just in from The Charleston Beer Exchange!

Greetings!
First, we want to sincerely thank everyone for the tremendous support and enthusiasm you showed in regards to the beer tasting bill currently in consideration for South Carolina. The email and phone call response to the Representative objecting to the bill was massive. You certainly let him know how you feel! This road may be longer than we hoped but we know with your support we will arrive eventually. We will keep you posted as things develop.
And now, on to the fun stuff:

Rare Beer Tuesday Tonight (5/19)
As we do every Tuesday at 5pm, we’ll be tapping a very special beer for growler fills. Tonight is extra special because it will be a double feature! The first beer is Southern Tier Mokah, an amazing chocolate/coffee stout which you have to taste to believe. The draft version of this is highly limited we are one of only a couple places in the whole state to offer it. The second beer is Terrapin Side Project "90 Shelling" Scotch Ale. The Side Project beers are one time only, special releases. It is almost all bottle only with only a very few rare kegs making it out to the market. Only 3 small kegs came in to SC, and the only one in the Charleston area will be at CBX tonight! Both are in very limited supply and won’t last long so don’t wait!

Beer Dinners!

And next week, Carolina’s is hosting a Founders Brewing beer dinner on Wednesday (5/27). They don’t seem to have the menu online yet but it looks awesome. Call them for more info:
