This is going to the Goodwill store. I’m sure it works, although I’ve never tested it. I don’t have a remote controller for it. Anyway, they’re about $20 new now. We’ve got DVD players in all the computers, and also one in the living room. Therefore, it is superfluous to requirements, and it’s going out!
