Today this monitor is going to the trash. It doesn’t work. It’s not that old but it gave up the ghost a few months ago, and it’s been sitting here gathering dust. Perhaps I should quit buying “bargain” stuff.

Too bad, looks like that was a decent monitor.
It was, when it was working, but one evening I went to bed, and it was left in standby mode, i.e it had shut down the display. The next morning, just a white screen. First thought was that the computer had died. I tried it on two other computers, and the it was the same.
I tried leaving it off for some time, and trying again but to no avail.
It was Hyundai brand, for what it’s worth. It was just over a year old – jsut out of warranty.
My Samsung Syncmaster here, is still going strong after 3.5 years, even though it cost me over $400 at the time.
