Cyd Charisse Dies

Cyd Charisse, who starred with Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly, has died, of a heart attack, in Los Angeles at the age of 86 , according to her publicist. She was oriiginally from Texas, and starred in a number of Hollywood musicals in the 1940’s and 1950’s including Brigadoon, The Band Wagon, and Silk Stockings.

The actress-dancer from Texas died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after suffering an apparent heart attack on Monday, her publicist Gene Schwam said.
