So we have another installment in the presidential race 2008 saga, with the announcement by Barack Obama of his victory in clinching the Democratic nomination.

The only comment I really would like to make on the whole thing, is that I feel it’s such a pity that all the money wasted by all the candidates to attempt to get themselves elected to the top job in November, couldn’t be put to better use in tending to the many real needs of the nation.
