Five Minutes Of Fame?

No Gravatar

In the noisy, information-overloaded world in which we now live in, it’s more like five seconds… if you’re lucky.

Still, it’s nice to get a mention now and again,  and I’d like to say thanks to Heather Solos for doing just that in The Post & Courier’s Lowcountry blogs.

Those of you that regularly read The Eye know that I don’t have a set theme here really. I never wanted it to be one of those blogs that simply posted a list of what I did today, or to chronicle a lurching from one crisis to another – I like to be thought of as a fairly upbeat type of guy. Having said that,  give me an issue I’m passionate about, and give me a soapbox… on second thoughts best not.

I was a little suprised that Heather noted that this wasn’t a family of kid safe blog, but looking through my most recent postings I guess it had gotten a little suggestive.  I do have another blog elsewhere, where those risque ones belong – nothing particularly untoward, just those that one wouldn’t show in front of maiden Aunt Maude.

So those postings have indeed been moved,  so that this blog, can hopefully return to, or remain on, the family bookshelves (or in this case the RSS reader perhaps).

  • Hello. Checking in from LC Blog!

I'm Heidi.. I'll take a look around, if you don't mind..
  • Hello Heidi,

Thanks for dropping by, and showing an interest in The Eye.

Heidi, The Blogger, formerly known as Tess. What a title! I like that.
  • I'll go and fix the post. Sorry about that; PG-13 is where I keep it with no warning. I don't want you censoring yourself. I just note a post with cursing so people don't get angry at ME. I just prefer to keep my butt covered. I'm sure you understand that. It's funny how you can go along for a while doing your own thing and the second you break from your general routine is when you get noticed.

Again, last night was fun, I hope you can join us again.
