I always forget something.
I get everything ready too. I go thru a mental checklist. I think I’ll have to type one up and stick it on the front door.
This morning it’s my glasses. As, according to Kathy, I’m now a blind old bat, I have to wear reading glasses at the computer. I have some bi-focals – these progressive ones, without lines, but they’re useless with the computer monitor, as I’m looking forward and not down. I can see the keyboard just fine, but then I have to tip my head back to see the screen.
I actually found the best solution is some of those cheap ones you can get in Wal-Mart. They’re $7.86 for a pack of three – so almost disposable at that price. Tha’ts quite amusing as everyone was saying “Hey, I like your new glasses.”
I did get a few folks tell me I looked like Harry Potter, but at my age, I supposed it’s a compliment to be compared to a schoolboy!
I would write some more, but well, to be frank, it’s a pain in the neck!
