Gloria Jeans, Crimper, and Salad
By Eyebee, on July 25th, 2008

- After a fairly long day working across town in Mount Pleasant, it was good to meet Katy downtown and head home. I needed a new CAT5 crimper, so decided to check out Centre Point Radio Shack in North Charleston for one. I’d been in Radio Shack at Northwoods Mall yesterday, but they told me they didn’t have any. Well it turns out that the Centre Point store didn’t have any either (although the web site said they did), but they called Northwood store and they did have some after all. All ready for next week now, when I’ll need it.
- After that, I couldn’t resist the smell of the coffee in Gloria Jeans and we wandered in. We’d thought about buying some Hawaiian Kona, and some Jamaican Blue Mountain, but as the price for a lb of each is just shy of a hundred bucks, we decided to make that purchase another day, and instead enjoyed iced coffee sitting outside. It was nice a relaxing.
- As I’m doing this diet thing, I worked out I’d nearly got to my self-imposed limits today, but as I was still a bit hungry, made a salad for dinner, and broiled a small steak, which was most enjoyable. I’m actually getting to enjoy the salads as much as the steak!
