It’s not worth being an Old Bastard anymore.
Police in Monona, Wi on Monday banned the local chapter of the International Order of Old Bastards of the exotic dancers who have performed at their meetings for many years.
The club, which consists of about 600 members, has met every three months for at least 40 years, according to a police report. Members must be at least 35 years old, although the average age is mid-60s, said Richard Story, the club’s newly installed Arch Old Bastard.
Apparently the Old Bastards of Minona didn’t have an adult entertainment license.
The order was founded in 1945 by an American soldier stationed in Australia, who based the name on the Australian greeting of “Hi, you Old Bastard”. There are about a million members in over 4,500 chapters around the world.
