I think I must be a Lifehacker. In her original book Lifehacker: 88 Tech Tricks to Turbocharge Your Day Gina Trapani says that Lifehackers have the following qualities:
Ok, I fit all the above, so I must be one. I spent the first half of my life without a computer. There were no computers at school. I didn’t get one until I was in my mid-twenties. I didn’t have a cellphone until I was in my thirties. Having said that, I’ve had a PC for over 20 years now, and a cellphone for 16, so they’re certainly entrenched in my way of life. What would we do without them, I find myself saying, but I did. When it comes to most of the latest technology though, I don’t want to turn the clock back!
You might like to check out Gina’s latest book at the link below too. I’ve really found Lifehacker to be a great time-saving read, and I’ve implemented a number of her recommendations. There’s stuff for Windows, Mac and Linux users in there.

I guess that makes me a Lifehacker too. BTW, what’s lunch?
Your Lifehacker post made me want to go back and tweak my new Disqus account. When will it ever end????
I’d like to say I’m sorry, but I can’t really, as we’re all in the same boat here, Carla!
Perhaps one day we’ll all just communicate with our minds, without all these new accounts to set up! Sigh…
Did you ever see the movie “Brainwaves” with Natalie Wood a few years ago? I think you’re probably right, that we’ll be able to tap into each others thoughts. Mind you, that’s kinda frightening!
I haven’t seen the movie – perhaps I’ll find it on Netflix. I read somewhere that everyone theoretically already has the power to sense and communicate telepathically. We’re probably blocking all those powers doing mundane things like signing up for new social media accounts and waiting in line at the post office! But I suppose that some thoughts are better left private – haha!
Private thoughts… that could open a whole can of worms in many ways. Conviction rates would be 100% accurate, but murder rates would probably increase somewhat!
Do people still go to the post office? LOL. Actually I was there tonight, but only to empty the box!
