The Eye

Today I’m networking. It’s an old word, but with new meanings in today’s society. There have been networks since time began, but today networking can mean a number of things. In the online world, it can be the connecting of two or more computers, or it can mean the coming together of humans over a network. That can be live, real time networking, such as Instant Messaging or a video conference, or it can be via email, or a forum, or a blog such as this. You may read this, and want to add to it, so you write a comment to this blog article, and someone else reads that, and puts in their input, and so on.

So today, I’m doing networking of two kinds. I’m networking computers together, so that others can network with each other, and I’m networking here by telling you, the reader, about my actions.
