Picasa

I’ve never really made use of Picasa – the free image viewer from Google.

I have always had other software I’ve used. Such as ACDSee (which has become rather bloated of late), or the excellent free Faststone Viever.

I thought I’d give Picasa a try on the Linux Lappie, as it says it will index everything including over the network so we’ll see how it goes. It’s easier if it works well to access images on the rest of the network here if it does indeed index them all correctly.

We shall see.
