Poem In Your Pocket Day
Today is Poem in your Pocket Day. For more information about Poem in your Pocket Day, visit this page of Poets.org. All you do is select a poem you love during National Poetry Month and then carry it with you to share with family, and friends on April 17.
Poems from pockets will be unfolded throughout the day with events in parks, libraries, schools, workplaces, and bookstores. The Poets.org website says that Poem In Your Pocket Day has been celebrated each April in New York City since 2002.
