Raymond L .Danner, Sr. Dead at 83
The man who founded two very popular restaurant chains has died.
Raymond L .Danner, Sr. got the credit for building the chains that includes Shoney’s and Captain D’s.
He was born in Kentucky, but considered Nashville his home. His first job was as a paper boy at the age of ten
In addition to being a business man, he was an keen golfer
Danner died of a brain tumor Saturday at his home in Nashville. He was 83 years old.
