Salad Days
Trying to be healthy and eat more salad here.
Made one this afternoon ready to go with steak and potatoes this evening.
Spinach, tomato, cucumber, shredded ham, shredded chicken, chopped almonds, celery, red pepper, and mushrooms, all in a bowl. About to see how it works, and if the guests enjoy it, with or without dressing.
I guess some of the balsamic vinegar I wrote about yesterday would be good sprinkled on it, but alas, that I don’t have right now!
I shall accompany the lot with a nice cold beer.
