Weekend reminder and an amazing new arrival list from The Exchange!

Big Firkin Saturday (10/2)
Don’t forget, this Saturday (tomorrow) at 2pm we’ll be tapping our next cask (firkin) of real ale for growler fills!  This time we have a unique specialty from Terrapin: Cherry Oak Big Hoppy Monster!  The base beer, Big Hoppy Monster, is an 8.3% ABV imperial red with massive hop flavor that scores a nearly perfect 99 rating on Ratebeer.com.  This one off special cask version was aged on cherry oak for a true once in a .  These one off casks are always a blast and a tricked out version of one our all time favorites is sure to be a hit!

If you have never been to one of our special releases before, it is beer in it’s purest form: conditioned in the cask and free of force carbonation, filtration or other processing.  Real cask ales allow the beer to showcase different nuances of texture, flavor and aroma than their normally kegged counterparts.  Unlike our regular growler fills, is highly perishable and must be consumed the same day so plan accordingly!  We will gravity tap this cask on the counter at 2pm and growler fills of this beauty will be limited so don’t wait.
