Hello again beer lovers!
Rare Beer Tuesday (8/24)
Tomorrow, like every Tuesday at 5pm, they will be tapping a super rare keg for growler fills. Tomorrow’s feature will be from Victory Brewing out of Downingtown, PA. This is their Braumeister Pils brewed with Sladek hops from the Czech Republic. They have had other versions of the Braumeister Pils as Rare Beer Tuesday beers in the past and they are always very delicious and a big hit. This one is also pretty easy on the wallet. Come on down!
Rare Bomber Thursday (8/26)
Their ultra limited, pre-filled 22oz bomber-style “growler” release this Thursday at 5pm will be the very rare, draft-only Allagash Blonde from Allagash Brewing out of Portland, Maine. This beautiful Belgian-Style Blonde Ale comes in at 8.2% and is very rare to see in these parts.

It’s quite an imposing building, and it’s tied to one of my all-time favorite breweries, Fuller, Smith and Turner of nearby Chiswick, but alas, it’s a dire place to drink, particularly at night.
About the only good thing you can say is that it seems to keep the rabble out of the much nicer, and smaller, and less imposing North Star on the other side of the street (behind and to the right of where I took this photograph.
