Why Charlotte? Why not Charleston? Well Charleston airport is so expensive, they each save about $200 by flying to Charlotte, and driving down from there. It’s only a three hour drive, and by the time you do the transfer at Charlotte, and board the plane to Charleston, you don’t really save a great deal.

They’re renting a car, so it doesn’t matter if they do that in Charlotte or here.

Anyway, they’ll be landing shortly (in about 45 mins, as I write this), and by the time they’ve cleared all the official bits, got the car, and driven here via I-77 and I-26 it’ll be just in time for dinner!
