Please join me at the Palmetto Acoustic Series this Thursday, October 23rd at 7:30pm. We will be welcoming Jason Marcum from Charlotte, NC and Oso Rey from Asheville, NC. Check out their music at www.myspace.com/palmettoacoustic.
Muddy Waters is now serving beer and wine, along with their specialty coffee drinks and panini sandwiches.
Keep in mind, if the parking lot is full, there are plenty of spots available in the lot adjacent to Muddy Waters. Show starts promptly at 7:30pm, so please come early to get a drink, a seat and to chat with the acoustic community.
Also The Charleston Coffee Crew Meet-Up Group will be at this event too, so a double whammy if you’re like me and enjoy good coffee AND good music!

The wonders of technology means I can track human progress across the Atlantic these days almost as good as that UPS parcel from the other coast.

Why Charlotte? Why not Charleston? Well Charleston airport is so expensive, they each save about $200 by flying to Charlotte, and driving down from there. It’s only a three hour drive, and by the time you do the transfer at Charlotte, and board the plane to Charleston, you don’t really save a great deal.
They’re renting a car, so it doesn’t matter if they do that in Charlotte or here.
Anyway, they’ll be landing shortly (in about 45 mins, as I write this), and by the time they’ve cleared all the official bits, got the car, and driven here via I-77 and I-26 it’ll be just in time for dinner!
