We have two huge events coming up at The Charleston Beer Exchange to tell you about!
New Belgium Ranger IPA Growler Special Offer (4/17)
This Saturday (4/17), we’ll be running a special offer on growler fills of the delicious New Belgium Ranger IPA! Growler fills will be only $8.99 and each fill will come with a New Belgium specialty globe glass, one of our all time favorite beer glasses!
We’ll be starting at opening (11am) and running the deal until it’s all gone. There is no limit on this deal so come early and load up! Chris Winn from New Belgium Brewing will be on hand early in the day to giveaway some assorted extra New Belgium swag!
Dogfish Head’s Sam Calagione Book Signing/Meet & Greet (4/22)
On Thursday April 22nd, from 4:30 to 6pm, one of the biggest rock stars of the craft beer world will be hanging out at CBX to meet beer enthusiasts and sign bottles/growlers along with his book “Brewing Up A Business” which will be available at CBX for a discounted price! Sam Calagione is the Founder and President of Dogfish Head Craft Brewed Ales as well as a highly acclaimed craft beer author and media presence.
Our growler station will be loaded with Dogfish Head beers for Sam to offer up his unique specialties and talk shop about his creations. We’ll have some Dogfish goodies to giveaway too! See you there!

They have lots of new and exciting things going on at The Charleston Beer Exchange this week!
A Special Evening With Dr. Joel From New Holland Brewing
This Friday, April 10th, from 5pm to 6pm they are very excited to host Dr. Joel from New Holland Brewing Company. For those unfamiliar, Dr. Joel is the beer ambassador a.k.a. “The Beer Beast From The East” for this great brewery out of Holland, Michigan. At 5pm they will be tapping a very special and very rare keg of Brother Jacob’s Belgian Dubbel for growler fills. This will be the only appearance of this beer in the state of South Carolina. Dr. Joel will be answering questions and talking about his beers as well as handing out fun New Holland swag. Go say “Hi” and get a growler of this great beer! Cask Event Saturday
This Saturday, April 11th, at 2pm they will be tapping a special cask of Foothills Dry-Hopped Torch Pilsner. This is only a 5 gallon firkin, so it will only yield 10 or so growlers. This will be first come, first serve. As a reminder, cask ale is very perishable and must be consumed the same day, so please plan accordingly.
Rare Beer Tuesday / Racer X Redux
On Tuesday, April 14th, at 5 pm they will be tapping their second and final keg of Bear Republic Racer X. This rare and delicious double IPA was very popular at their last tapping and sold out quickly so get there early or send someone down for you!
