Despite a habit of licking things no human would dare, Fido’s mouth is often touted as scientifically more sterile. Truth is, oral bacteria are so species-specific that one can’t be considered cleaner than the other, just different.

I was reading this from Frank Gilroy, who I follow on Twitter.

I think it’s a good idea, so I’m gonna start it too.
The first item that is going is this external DVD-ROM drive. It doesn’t work, and although I hate throwing stuff away (When I was a kid, one got stuff repaired not threw it out), it’s no use, and that repair, if I could find anyone to do it, would be uneconomical anyway.
So out it goes. Tomorrow, something else will be getting the heave-ho.
