They have lots of new and exciting things going on at The Charleston Beer Exchange this week!

A Special Evening With Dr. Joel From New Holland Brewing
This Friday, April 10th, from 5pm to 6pm they are very excited to host Dr. Joel from New Holland Brewing Company. For those unfamiliar, Dr. Joel is the beer ambassador a.k.a. “The Beer Beast From The East” for this great brewery out of Holland, Michigan. At 5pm they will be tapping a very special and very rare keg of Brother Jacob’s Belgian Dubbel for growler fills. This will be the only appearance of this beer in the state of South Carolina. Dr. Joel will be answering questions and talking about his beers as well as handing out fun New Holland swag. Go say “Hi” and get a growler of this great beer! Click here for info on New Holland Brewing and Dr. Joel

Cask Event Saturday
This Saturday, April 11th, at 2pm they will be tapping a special cask of Foothills Dry-Hopped Torch Pilsner. This is only a 5 gallon firkin, so it will only yield 10 or so growlers. This will be first come, first serve. As a reminder, cask ale is very perishable and must be consumed the same day, so please plan accordingly.

Rare Beer Tuesday / Racer X Redux
On Tuesday, April 14th, at 5 pm they will be tapping their second and final keg of Bear Republic Racer X. This rare and delicious double IPA was very popular at their last tapping and sold out quickly so get there early or send someone down for you!

St Patrick’s Day At Charleston Beer Exchange

St. Patrick’s Day Special
Wishing everyone a very happy St. Patrick’s Day from The Charleston Beer Exchange! To celebrate they are offering growler fills of COAST Brewing’s Dry Irish Style Stout (aka DIS Stout) for only $9.50 on Tuesday while it lasts! First come, first serve. Don’t miss this steal of a deal. What better way to celebrate than a delicious, organic, hometown favorite?!?

Rare Beer Tuesday
As if that wasn’t enough, they’ll be tapping a special keg at 5pm for their weekly “Rare Beer Tuesday” growler release at CBX! Their feature this week will be Avery/Russian River “Collaboration Not Litigation” Ale. This beer came about when two top American breweries discovered they both had a beer with the same name. Instead of a legal battle they decided to blend them together and release an altogether new beer! Thus “Collaboration Not Litigation” was born. It is a Belgian Strong Dark Ale weighing in at just under 9% ABV. This will be one of only a few draft appearances of this beer in the Southeast. Get it while you can!

Growler Station Upgrade
They are very excited to announce that they have added three more taps to the growler station and now have nine offerings for growlers at any given time! You thought it was hard to choose before. Go check this out!
