But no! This morning, I wake up to thunder, lightning and torrential rain. Still, it’s warm enough out there, so not complaining on that score.
Over two hundred lightning strikes, numerous severe thunderstorm warnings, and tornado warnings too. It’s seldom I switch on the television but I did spend a couple of hours with Channel 2 on. Some damage reported in a mobile home park in Moncks Corner, but nothing heard from this area, or this neighborhood, and the storms seem to be passing now. Hopefully, the worst has passed, and we’ll get a peaceful night. I shall keep the NOAA weather radio nearby however, just in case. |
