1. Coffee in bed, made by my wife, Kathy. It’s almost always me that makes the coffee in the mornings, so it was a nice, welcome change.
2. A pleasant day out at Irvin Vineyards, on Wadmalaw Island. Very relaxing.
3. A glass or two of Leffe, a fine Belgian beer of good quality.

We had another lowcountry Tweet Meet at Madra Rua Pub this evening starting around 6.30. It was a smaller affair to some in the past, but there were enough of us there to get a decent conversation going nonetheless. First there were two, then two become one. The Grace Memorial bridge, opened in 1929, cost $6 million; the Silas N. Pearman Bridge, opened in 1966, cost $15 million, and the Arthur Ravenel Jr Bridge, opened in 2005, cost $700 million.
