15 Mar 08 Stormy Night

Apparently the worst in the area in twenty years.

Over two hundred lightning strikes,  numerous severe thunderstorm warnings, and tornado warnings too. It’s seldom I switch on the television but I did spend a couple of hours with Channel 2 on.

Some damage reported in a mobile home park in Moncks Corner, but nothing heard from this area, or this neighborhood, and the storms seem to be passing now.

Hopefully,  the worst has passed, and we’ll get a peaceful night. I shall keep the NOAA weather radio nearby however, just in case.
