A cancelled appointment this morning wasn’t perhaps the best start to a working day, but I have to confess I’m enjoying the day so far.
After dropping Kathy downtown, I headed over to The Clipper Club for a Sailaway.
No, dear readers, nothing to do with water-bourne activities; I’m pretty much a landlubber!
No, a Sailaway at The Clipper Club involves a half hour of face, neck, and scalp hot towel massage, and a shampoo and style, so it’s a real pampering for us guys.
After that, I headed back to Folly Road, and decided to swing by Kronic Coffee, for a brew. I don’t get to this side of town very often, being way over in Ladson, and this is my first visit to this establishment.
I have to say that the coffee was excellent, and unlike certain other places, freshly brewed. The oatmeal I’d had for breakfast a few hours before was delicious, but it didn’t quite match up to the ‘Bashy BLT’ that I ordered here. This was quite simply one of the tastiest BLT’s I’ve even eaten anywhere, and just a great flavor combination. All BLT’s are NOT the same!
Aah, Making it last – more work to do this afternoon!

Waking Up to a bright sunny morning that promises a potentially slightly warmer day than of late.
Two mugs of fresh brewed coffee, and a bowl of oatmeal.
Looking forward to eating for dinner what it marinating in the refrigerator right now.

It’s supposed to reduce cholesterol. Kathy is good, and has some most every morning. I don’t get up quite so early as a rule, and I am one of the world’s worst for eating breakfast. It’s the one time of the day that I’m not hungry, but this morning, as I did get up early, I had a bowlful with her before she left for work.
I’m now on my second cup of hot fresh coffee, and wading through emails (in between blogging) before I start my day’s work.
