28 Dec 09 Rare Beer Tuesday (12/29)
As they do every Tuesday at 5pm, they’ll be tapping something super extra special on the growler station! Their feature this week is a sensational double header from Ballast Point Brewing Company: Sculpin IPA (7% ABV) and Victory at Sea Coffee Vanilla Imperial Porter (10% ABV)! These are two of the most sought after beers in the world and always sell out fast. They don’t get them very often so this is a truly rare chance at these growlers. Please note there will be a one per person limit on Sculpin IPA growler fills.

As we do every Tuesday at 5pm, we’ll be tapping an extra, extra special keg on the growler station for growler fills! This week our feature is the perfect kickoff to the holiday season: Sweetwater Festive Ale! This highly limited winter brew from Atlanta is only brewed one day a year. At 8.6% ABV and brewed with cinnamon and mace this one is true to its Winter Warmer style. This is one of the lowest priced "Rare Beer Tuesday" features yet so come get some- its perfect for Thanksgiving!

This just in from The Charleston Beer Exchange!
Greetings!
First, we want to sincerely thank everyone for the tremendous support and enthusiasm you showed in regards to the beer tasting bill currently in consideration for South Carolina. The email and phone call response to the Representative objecting to the bill was massive. You certainly let him know how you feel! This road may be longer than we hoped but we know with your support we will arrive eventually. We will keep you posted as things develop.
And now, on to the fun stuff:
Rare Beer Tuesday Tonight (5/19)
As we do every Tuesday at 5pm, we’ll be tapping a very special beer for growler fills. Tonight is extra special because it will be a double feature! The first beer is Southern Tier Mokah, an amazing chocolate/coffee stout which you have to taste to believe. The draft version of this is highly limited we are one of only a couple places in the whole state to offer it. The second beer is Terrapin Side Project "90 Shelling" Scotch Ale. The Side Project beers are one time only, special releases. It is almost all bottle only with only a very few rare kegs making it out to the market. Only 3 small kegs came in to SC, and the only one in the Charleston area will be at CBX tonight! Both are in very limited supply and won’t last long so don’t wait!
