I’ve made it through to the end of week 2. At the end of six weeks I should be able to do one hundred push ups right off.
I know I’m doing better than I was when I started this, but I know too, that I’m still some way off from that hundred.
Still it’s exercise. It gets the upper arms strengthened, and it’s a bit of workout for the heart too. I know that because I can feel it pumping when I’ve done a session of these.
Next session is Monday. What a way to start the week!

I have just completed my second day this week of the new One Hundred Push Ups routine. It’s another goal to work towards, and life is all about reaching goals!
Today I had to increase to a total of 35 push-ups in five groups. My next session is on Friday.

OK, I went into the site this morning, and tackled day one of week one.
I’ll raise my hand and say I’m out of shape. No excuses. I’m a computer chair potato (you’ll rarely find me on the couch).
Anyway, the plan is to eventually be able to do 100 push ups.
This morning I had to do this.
- 7 push ups, rest one min.
- 7 push ups, rest one min.
- 5 push ups, rest one min.
- 4 push ups, rest one min.
- 5 push ups, rest one min.
Ok, I know that to you gym-attending fitness gurus out there, this is really lame, but you gotta start somewhere.
I’m aiming to do this each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Wish me luck, willpower, and perserverence!
