 Happy Valentines Day! Grammy nominated Sylvia Bennett, the timeless smooth jazz and pop vocalist sings of love with a warmth, clarity and spirit that is enveloping and tender, showcasing the depth of her skill, talent and experience. She’s sung with Lionel Hampton and she’s sung for presidents – all with a singular style and intimacy that is hers and hers alone. Just a week ago, the foutain outside Hanahan Town Hall, which is but ten minutes drive from here froze solid overnight. Today I’m sitting here with the doors and windows open, and the temperature outside is currently 75. Now, I’m all for more of the latter, and none of the former, but it’s certainly a quick change around in seven days! I don’t want to look at the weather forecast. I’d be happy to see this weather last all the way to next summer! Great to wake up to another morning, with the sun streaming through the windows, and a temperature already into the higher end of the 60’s at breakfast time. Keep it coming! |
