This morning, as it’s such a pleasant day outside, I decided to go for a walk. There are plenty of little pockets of countryside around here, even though I’m only a miles or so from Heathrow Airport to the south west, and the M4 motorway, a half mile to the north.

I walked to Cranford Park, and as I went by St. Dunstan’s church, I saw a notice announcing that the church was open today, so I went inside.
Two women were sitting there, and one asked me if I was a visitor or if I’d come for the bell-ringing. Now that’s a thought. I suspect it could be good exercise too.
Anyway, I replied that I was just visiting, and I asked if I could take some photographs.
I’ve been to the church on several occasions before, and I knew it was OK to take photos, but I asked nonetheless as I feel it’s good manners to do so, and not just march in and start snapping away. I hadn’t taken my camera with me, but I did have my Samsung Galaxy Note with me, and that does take rather good pictures for a cellphone.
I spent about ten minutes in the church, and took a few shots. I bade goodbye to the two women, and made my way back outside into Cranford Park.
From there I walked westwards through the park and then, when I reached the western boundary, I turned south for about a half mile and then east, and back to the entrance at The Parkway.
