 Happy Valentines Day! Grammy nominated Sylvia Bennett, the timeless smooth jazz and pop vocalist sings of love with a warmth, clarity and spirit that is enveloping and tender, showcasing the depth of her skill, talent and experience. She’s sung with Lionel Hampton and she’s sung for presidents – all with a singular style and intimacy that is hers and hers alone. Dave Dee, who fronted 60’s pop band Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Titch, has died from cancer at the age of 65. They were still performing together as a band, and were due to play more concerts betwen now and Easter. Their 1968 hit ‘The Legend of Xanadu’ went to Number 1 in the UK, and they had a string of other hits such as ‘Bend It’, ‘Hold Tight’ and Zabadak. Dave is survived by his wife and two children.
