Arriva Southern Counties, who provide bus service to a large part of Southern England, are teaming up with Concept Data Technologies to create an m-ticket system.

A bus traveler will be able to purchase tickets on their mobile phone, via a debit or credit card, or using the PayPoint outlet system, and then simply show the ticket on their mobile phone display to the driver.

Once in full operation, it will be possible to download the software to phones, and then be able to purchase a complete range of tickets including not just daily,  but weekly, and monthly season tickets, and all-day rover tickets too.
