Do you remember this stuff?

It  was something my mother always kept in the cupboard when I was a young lad. I don’t know if she still does, and I don’t know if it’s still popular. I always thought it was the most revolting stuff on earth. You generally use it either as a spread on bread or toast, or else you can put it in tarts, much as you would jam.

   I don’t like that either. There is a similar product in the UK called Marmite. It’s basically the yeast sludge from breweries.
